Rise of the Tomb Kings is a massive expansion, adding the Land of the Dead in all its sandy and pyramid-y glory and tasking players to find five of the Nine Books of Nagash to gain complete control over the eternal unlife of its rulers.īuy now: P ick up Warhammer 2 if you haven’t already Warhammer II’s first DLC is also its best, bringing the undead rulers or Nehekarah to virtual life for the first time in history. Total War: WARHAMMER II – Rise of the Tomb Kings The closer we get to Warhammer 3's release date though, the cheaper these add-ons will get, so patience is a virtue in this case. That still leaves a fair amount of add-ons that need evaluating, so we've put together this guide to help you decide which expansions are worth grabbing straight away, and which are worth skipping or at least waiting for a sale to drop. That's not to mention all of the free content that's been released, although since you don't have to pay for that we've not focused on it for this guide. The early years saw other areas of the map fleshed out, such as in Rise of the Tomb Kings and Curse of the Vampire Coast, but in later years it was more about the smaller, more narrative focused content drops. Warhammer 2 expansions involve a mixture of big, encompassing add-ons and smaller 'set-piece' scenarios between two legendary lords. Warhammer 3 is coming and now that the final Warhammer 2 expansion is out it's all hands on deck for the threequel. I'm curious to hear what you all think of the units I chose and which you would replace at the top spot, if any, for a given faction. We've had a good run, but it seems that (for now, at least) Total War: Warhammer II DLC is coming to an end. And its based on multiplayer, because in campaign there are so many confounding variables with Red line buffs and skill trees and events that completely change how powerful vanilla units are that cant really be accounted for. These units were chosen based on a combination of Versatility (filling many different roles and being to combat many different threats), Cost efficiency (what a unit offers for its price), Utility (what a unit brings to the table outside of pure killing power), Battlefield performance, and Whether or not they are a Staple of their faction, seen in many different matchups. Ultimately this is my list though, i did plenty of debating to arrive at these conclusions P

But after submitting my own list of units to some of the best players in the community (xiphos, LotusMoon, Pippington, Tlaxtlan Soothsayer, and Aerocrastic), I listened to their feedback and compiled a list of the Best units for every faction currently in Total War Warhammer 2.

Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate, and thanks for posting mate! There are a lot of factors that go into choosing the "Best" unit for a faction, and its always going to be a subjective topic thats open to debate.
